What is the significance of Choresh encountering Kotzer?

1.

Rashi: This is like "v'Hisig Lachem Dayish Es Batzir u'Vatzir Yasig Es Zara" (Vayikra 26:5). They will not finish plowing before the time to reap comes, and they will not finish harvesting grapes before the time to seed comes.

2.

Radak, Malbim: They will have so much grain that they will harvest until the time for plowing, and they will encounter each other. This is greater than the Torah's Brachah "v'Hisig Lachem Dayish Es Batzir u'Vatzir Yasig Es Zara."

What is the significance of Dorech Anavim encountering Moshech ha'Zara?

1.

Radak: This is like "u'Vatzir Yasig Es Zara" (Vayikra 26:5). Moshech ha'Zara is one who carries the seeds to the field to plant it; Targum Yonasan is 'taking out seed.' It says Moshech like "Nosei Meshech ha'Zara" (Tehilim 126:6); it is dearness, like "u'Meshech Chachmah" (Iyov 28:18). Seed is dear, to plant it.

What is "Asis"?

1.

Rashi: It is good, sweet wine.

2.

Radak: This is a Mashal for the abundance of wine and Peros, like "Zavas Chalav u'Devash" (Shemos 3:8). Asis encompasses all drinks that come from grapes and other fruits, for it comes via squeezing and crushing, like "v'Asosem Resha'im" (Mal'achi 3:21).

3.

Malbim: It is honey of fruits.

4)

What is the meaning of "Tismogagnah"?

1.

Targum Yonasan: They will be worked. Rashi - a cultivated field Mismogeges (melts) when rain comes.

2.

Radak, Malbim: This is a Mashal, as if the hills will melt from the abundant milk that will flow on them from the flocks that graze on them. Even though the verse did not mention milk, it is understood. Verses often omit words when they are understood. It says in Yo'el "Yitefu he'Harim Asis veha'Geva'os Telachnah Chalav" (4:18). Perhaps it is a Mashal for the great good that they will receive without toil, like I explained there.
