What is "Shot", and whom does it kill?

1.

Rashi: It is the Satan's tongue; it kills a Tzadik suddenly.

2.

Devar Eliyahu: There are two possible reasons why Tam and Rasha are eradicated. (a)Shot - chance occurrences that kill people suddenly. (b) The land was given to a Rasha who covers the judges' faces (24).

What is the meaning of "l'Masas Nekiyim Yil'ag"?

1.

Rashi: He mocks the innocent that he killed.

2.

Ibn Ezra: One who mocks, he will mock the innocent [who melted].

3.

Malbim: Masas is an expression of Nisayon (test). Bildad said that Hashem afflicts a Tzadik in order to reward him afterwards. Hashem tests him; if he passes the test and does not complain Hashem bestows to him more good than the evil of the test. However, if he died amidst the afflictions, this proves that he will not be rewarded for passing the test. Iyov intended for himself - he thought that it is impossible for him to recover from his afflictions. It will not help him to stand in the test!
