Is this the Achashverosh who was in the days of Haman?

Rashi: No. That Achashverosh was Melech Paras. This is Daryavesh ha'Midi who became king over Malchus Kasdim when Belshatzar was killed ? "v'Daryavesh Mada'ah Kabel Malchusa" (6:1).

Ibn Ezra: No. I explained this above (refer to 6:1:1:2).

Malbim: No. "Mi'Zera Madai" shows that this was the first Daryavesh, who took kingship from Belshatzar (before the episode of Purim).
